    If you can log into the web ui, there is a factory default control in system->settings->update.  So you could see if that works.

     

    Another path is to connect the disks to a Windows PC, and either erase them with vendor tools, or unformat them using the Windows Disk Manager.  Then put them back into the NAS and power up.  The NAS should automatically do a factory install if you power up with blank disks.
