RN600-TL / X6 Update / Boot Problems
I bought a used RN600-TL / X6 to act as backup to my existing unit. When I powered it up, I got a Corrupt Boot error in the RAIDar screen. I did a factory reset, and reinitialized the 4 drives to RAID...
To finish up this thread... mdgm through many PMs and finally telnet access was able to determine the problem - 3 of the 4 drives were throwing ATA errors, causing the failures with firmware updates, resets & etc. Replacing the drives solved all issues with the NAS. Very happy I asked my question here. Thanks again to mdgm!
