RNDP 6000-100nas bios update
i posted with my issue earlier before.. i just aquired a RNDP 6000-100NAS, business addition. i updated the firmware/OS to the latest stable version (OS6.10.7), only to realize that it didn'...
Thanks a lot for the reply. I actually got it going last night (i think)!
i was able to downgrade OS6 to OS4.2.31 by renaming the OS4.2.31 bin to the exact same name as the OS6.img. then i was able to upload OS4.2.31 via the firmware updater in OS6.
I couldn't find the command that gave me the firmware version info, so i haven't verified that i am infact using the latest bios for the nas, but i'm pretty sure all went through just fine.. i didn't get any error messages when it uploaded, so..
afterwards i re-updated back to 6.10.7.
The only thing that's odd, and maybe you can verify, is that under the system window, where it shows the processor and system fan, and the core and system temps (with the thermometers), apparently there should be on thermometer per core (i'm currently running the stock cpu, so it should show 2 thermometers)... Mine only shows 1 thermometer.
is that correct?

All my desktop ReadyNAS only show the CPU temp - nothing about each core.
The only time I've seen core temperatures on a ReadfyNAS is when the OS was using the wrong configuration file.
You can verify the BIOS version in bios_ver.log in the downloaded log .zip.
i found that screen shot from something another person posted. I have the same thing, only mine shows 1 cpu, not 2 separate cores.
