RNDU2000 admin page does not load after factory reset

The admin page of the NAS does not load after a manual factory reset, by pressing the combination keys on the chassis. A laptop connected directly to the NAS displays "http://192.168.168.168/admin", but the page does not load.

RAIDAR discovers the NAS but clicking the Admin key, bring me to the above described situation.

You could try a direct connect.

Set the PC ethernet configuration temporarily to

    IP: 192.168.168.100

    subnet: 255.255.255.0

    Gateway: 192.168.168.1

Connect the NAS ethernet cable directly to the PC (not the router or switch).

    Then try https:/192.168.168.168/admin

      Hello Ezechias,

When you do a factory reset there is a 10 minute countdown, during which time you can open RAIDar, click setup and choose the RAID mode. After a selection has been confirmed or 10 minutes has elapsed the disks are then wiped, the RAID created, the OS installed and a volume created. After all that the NAS will then boot and only then will the admin page be accessible. There will be the initial RAID sync ongoing for some hours but the admin page will be accessible during this time. This is something to note in addition to changing the I.P. address on the computer to one in the same range as the NAS (changing the I.P. is normally not needed, but it is in this case as the NAS didn't pickup an I.P. address via DHCP as you connected it directly to your PC rather than to your router).

      Regards,
