Ok,
So the story continues. I pulled drive 1. Mounted it in an x86 Linux PC using the explenation I found on the net
http://home.bott.ca/webserver/?p=306
and
http://technostuff.blogspot.nl/2012/06/how-to-mount-disk-used-by-readynas.html
I was able to copy my files.. I tested the files randomly, old en new, all are accesable and working. So the backup is complete. :D
Next I tried:
- OS reinstall
- Using an USB to "update" the firmware, going back to the last functional 4.1.8
Both no result. Raidar tells corrupt root.
Should I try to go to 4.1.13? because i already tried that update from Frontview, and got a message succesfull (although I doubt that)?
What could be the cause of the problem. Disks seems to be OK, Memory maybe? How can I test??
Is my last resort back to factory settings? Using another disk, and than after a succesfull start and firmware update swapping this disk for the origional disks, still containing my data? Will that work?
