Thanks StephenB. Yup I'm thinking that the dedicated bluray player is the way to go.
The EVA9150 comes with a 500GB HDD, while the one I bought (I'm sure its the 9100) is the same thing with an empty HDD bay - that I filled with a cheap 2TB drive. I'll keep looking for a PC-based DLNA server that can grab media from a network drive as I really dont want to have to move the EVA9100 from the old TV it is connected to.
