Simple ReadyNAS to Drobo backup

I've chatted with stasiak over PM.
He was trying to use rsync. Changing the backup type to windows (timestamp) worked.
He manually installed rsync on the drobo (it is not preinstalled); I suspect the issue is how it is set up there.
