What version of RAIDiator are you running?
Does a direct-connection (How to Direct Connect to your ReadyNAS) make a difference?
Windows 2000 Professional is very old and while it should still work, I believe it's no longer supported by Microsoft. Unless you have a special need to run software on Windows 2000 that you can't get to run on newer versions of Windows, I would suggest considering replacing the machine with a newer one.
Unless you have the 2100 (4-bay rackmount) as well as a Duo, please change your profile to say you have a Duo.
