SMBv1 Error

Hi,

I am trying to use my old RND2150 but can't access the files due to the following error:

You can't connect to the file share because it's not secure. This share requires the obsolete SMB1 protocol, which is unsafe and could expose your system to attack. Your system requires SMB2 or higher. For more info on resolving this issue, see: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=852747

I have updated the firmware to RAIDiator version 4.1.16 but this has not helped.

Can anyone advise me as to how I overcome this issue?

Regards, Dave.

    Hi DJLarcombe,

The RND2150 only supports SMBv1. You can enable SMBv1 on your computer by going "Turn Windows Feature On or Off", then look for SMB 1.0/CIFS.

Which means ignoring the security warning.  If you are using a Mac, you would switch to AFP.
