Snapshot Size
I want to start using the snapshot feature on my ReadyNas Pro.
I currently am using about 200GB of space with 10GB reserved for snapshots.
My question, does the snapshot reserve space need to big enough to fit all my files?
Or, does it only need to be big enough to fit the changed files between snapshots?
There doesn't seem to be much info on how exactly the snapshot feature works.
Thank you,

exactly. If you have alot of file modifications/additions, then you may need a bigger snapshot reserve (unfortunately currently only changable during a factory default).
essentially, 10 gig snapshot reserveration can store up to ~10 gig of new/modified files before the snapshot gets invalidated. There doesn't seem to be much info on how exactly the snapshot feature works.
its a generic linux filesystem feature, you can find a little more @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snapshot_(computer_storage) or just about any linux info site should have more info
