[SOLVED] - You need permission to perform this actioN

Got the ReadyNAS Duo V2 for two days now. And i must say that so far i have been a bit disappointed.
I keep running intro problem that i thought just would work as I've got it. But here i am.

I got my Duo setup for the network and i can access the ip. I've added a shortcut to NAS-A0-BC-BE.
Whenever i try to delete a file in NAS-A0-BC-BE/media it says i need admin rights to do so.

"You require permission from Unix User\\root to make changes to this folder"

Here is a picture of my setting for the folder:

Thanks in advantage.

[SOLVED]
I made a user with name and password, gave him the rights to read/write. Pressed "Reset Permissions" under the settings for the folder.
And was then able to delete the files i wanted deleted.
  • Yes you need to have users set up in security tab can see from your pic you did not have any, when you create users keep the same user name and password that you log into your OS with.
