Thanks for pointing this out. It sounds interesting, but personally for my next device I'm holding off any upgrade until I can buy something that:
1) Supports USB3 and/or eSATA
2) Is rack-mountable and quiet enough to install in my media rack in the living room
3) Costs around $1000
4) 100 MBps read/write performance for both ext3 and NTFS
5) At least 4 drives
