Specify the destination folder on an external USB hard drive
How do I set to which folder in an external USB hard drive the backups go to? By default, they go to the root of the drive, but if I want to backup the Documents folder in the NAS to a folder named Do...
Note that you can also do it by setting the backup destination to "share: [name of USB drive]" rather than "USB back right"... But while that WILL allow you to specify a destination path, it WILL NOT allow you to exclude directories (like the data/.share snapshot directory) or allow you to set the source to an entire volume. Rsync allows you to do both of those things (and more), which is why I recommend using it for all backup jobs.
