But none of the linux servers can support "home sharing", which is needed to directly access the servers from an iDevice. You can access your music and videos with third party apps, though the best ones are paid (and there aren't any that work on the apple TV). You can also store the media on the NAS, but run iTunes itself on a PC or Mac - then airplay, etc all work whenever the PC is on and iTunes is running.
