This is a bit frustrating but I suppose this is all due to airplay protocol not be open enough for developers. This means that the only way is to do airplay from native video player without subtitles OR watch it in the iDevice with subtitles.
Is there a way to embedd the subtitle into the video on the fly while streaming from ftp and then play the new version of the video (with subtitle embedded) in the iphone native video app?
