Streaming options NV+ v1?
Hi! I'm new to readynas after I got the unit called readynas nv+ v1 (figured out since it is the silver chassi). I've setup the machine and it's seems to work at least when i'm connected with my...
-Airplay (without mirroring) is temperamental with AVPlayerHD. Usually you get audio-only, sometimes you get a failure to play.
-It will play back subtitles, the second icon from the top on the left controls them. There are a variety of subtitle formats (not to mention the text encoding) - I am not sure which set it handles correctly.
-taking my own advice, I have installed plex on a PC and am starting to play with it now. I haven't installed their players at this point, it is presently loading up its database.
