Streaming options NV+ v1?

With the native player I mean the built in video player in iphone. When using the built in player you can do airplay with no problem BUT when doing airplay from another player for instance AVPlayer you will only get sound on the tv. Playing a video with seperate subtitle file I managed to find player handling that through ftp stream and to view it on the tv the only option was doing mirroring which is not so smooth.
