The NAS rejects W 7 connection request
Hello, I've just re-installed W7 on my desktop, it was working fine before, but now the connection through the windows file explorer fails straight away. Nevertheless, it works fine through intern...

Yes I tried all that without success.
Finally I found the solution, it was effectively a question of account management, my user was not admin on W7, I have no clue how this occured but it was changed from admin to standard user.
I changed it back to admin and it worked immediately.
I also matched all accounts, IDs and pswds, but I'm not sure this helped as it was working before without this change.
