Time server time.apple.com ?

Hi. I'm running the latest ReadyNAS. Can I set the time server to time.apple.com ? Is there a way to find out if it is synchronized? I'm trying to get the NAS time to match the time on my macbook.

I have no idea what you think that is.  It's much better to provide the model and the firmware version.

That said, you can use any NTP server you want.  I haven't used time.apple.com myself, but I do use 0.pool.ntp.org in my ReadyNAS with no problems.

You can see NTP synchronization events in the downloaded zip file of readynas logs.  With an OS 6 NAS you'd look in system.log and search for ntp: adjust  If it is working properly you'll see events logged like

Dec 30 00:55:07 NAS connmand[5608]: ntp: adjust (slew): +0.002484 sec
