Timemachine not working

I setup an about 1.9TB bundle off the Readynas backup page about a month ag. Note, it doesn't appear as a backup entry but if I click timemachine (off the readynas backup page) it shows what I previously entered (shared, 2000MB, SMB). The Mac, as per the image below, seems to be "happy" with it.However, anytime (on any day) I open the timemachine it looks like it shows backups have only happened since "Yesterday". Nothing "complains." So, I have no idea if anything's really backed up, backing up or what. Please advise
