I have exactly the same problem. I have tried turning bonjour off and AFP off and on but I still get this error message:
The backup disk image “/Volumes/ReadyNAS/......./MacBook Pro.sparsebundle” could not be accessed (error -1).
I'd be very pleased to hear from anyone who's found a solution. Thanks.
