Transfer disks to new enclosure

I have a ready NAS DUO V2 and I am thinking of getting a Netgear ReadyNAS 102 Diskless RN10200.  When I put these disks into the new enclosure will it look for my old password OR will it want to use the new unit's admin password?

The RN102 will need to format your disks, and will set up everything using factory default settings for OS6.  So you would need to have a full backup for the duo v2 if you want to reuse the disks.

You might want to get at least new disk for the RN102, and transfer everything over the network.  You could then use the v2 for backup (a good idea if you have no NAS backup) or you could then shift one of the v2 disks to the RN102 after the data is migrated.  If you shift a disk, then the new drive for the RN102 would need to be the same size as the v2 drives.
