Ultra 4 factory reset fails
Hello! I'm new user here.
For several years I got a Ultra 4 plus device with 4x2 TB drives for my family'se photos and movies and it was almost full, then I bought a 314 device in last month, put 4x4 TB drives on it and migrate the files from Ultra and another storage devices to the 314.
My intention is use the Ultra in another address to backup up the most valuable files from 314.
I perform a factory reset on Ultra and doesn't complete (show message ERROR: COULD NOT EXTRACT PROPERLY....).
I look for solution in several sites, use two pen drives to try boot from USB and no sucess until now.
I find this forum and discovered some folks with same problem and sucess on the solution.
Can you help me?
Regards

- vandermerweMasterYou need someone to remotely access the nas and reinstall the OS onto the flash ,
There is one person who can do it will probably respond later. - mayhem1AspirantI am having the same issue. Has there been a response for this? My unit is out of warranty too...
