Unable to delete folder on NAS
I am a newbie at this but would very much appreciate some help. I am trying to delete (using Vista) an empty folder on my ReadyNAS. I get an error in Vista: "Destination Folder Access Denied - You n...

Ok
Step by Step
1:On an XP PC connected to the network
2: click start
3: right click my computer
4: Map network drive
5:assign any unused letter as drive say "w"
6: Folder Browse
7: select network places
8: you will see a network connection call " c on Readynas" where readynas is the name of my NAS yours may be something different "c on (name of nas)"
9:select this connection
10: tick box "reconnect on login"
11: "connect using a different user name"
12 a box will appear "connect as"
13 enter you Nas admin login and password click OK
you will now connect to the NAS and be able to delete, cut , copy anything you like
