@ ewok ,I wish i had jumped to the end of this subject, I figured it out on my readynas duo using xp pro in the shares listing/(click on)NFS,AFP etc/advanced /Grant rename and delete privileges to non-owner of files(checked)if only i had saw your post 1st instead of days of torture,lol
