I have had this issue for 5 years since my first NAS (NV+) using the Sparc firmware and continues to be an issue on a PRO4 using the (x386 Firware). It has got so annoying that I have started using my other Brand NAS as primary which is sad. I like the ReadyNAS's (excluding no eSATA ports and the USB3 port being no faster than USB2 on the PRO2).
