Understanding Expansion Limits
Hi all, I'm looking to expand my existing Ultra6 that has 6x 2TB drives in a 7399GB XRAID2 volume. I'm finding the 8TiB expansion limit a bit confusing, so I wanted to try to get some confirmation...
Provided you last did a factory default with the 6x2TB drives in place then expanding the existing volume when upgrading to 6x4TB drives should not be a problem.
