Unresponsive RN214
Our RN 214 (fw 6.10.6) went unresponsive last week after we started to delete some snapshots. We let it sit that way through the weekend but upon returning Monday it was still not responding through...

StephenB Thank you. I'm dealing with that now trying to do drive cleanup with a 3-4 minute window before the NAS becomes unresponsive. It's fun.
Yeah.
If you are in the process of backing up the NAS, you could try booting it read-only.
BTW, a full OS partition can also destabilize the NAS. That's very different from the data volume becoming full.

Hello!
I have the same issue today: noresponse via Explorer of browser, but ping is ok.
Tried to restart the device correctly using the power button, but nothing happened. Just unplug power helped.
It works 4-5 minutes and then again - no response.
I have no apps, no antivirus. FW is 6.10.6.
And there is nothing about cause of problem in logs, but will restart it again to check it.

Connection via RAIDar to device after hard restart went good. But can't download logs from there. When I'm trying download logs, window with progress bar appears, but nothing happens, it shows 0%.
In the same time I can navigate logs in the web-GUI, this is what I found there:
- System: Service or process restarted (first message after hard restart).
- Volume: Less than 30% of volume's capacity is free. NETGEAR recommends increasing the volume capacity to maintain current performance levels. Nonstop protection snapshots will be deleted when the free space on the volume is less than 10%.
- System: ReadyNASOS background service started
- Few messages like - Snapshot: Snapshot 2022_01_24__04_00_08 was removed from the share or LUN using the Snapshot Delete Tool.
And that's it.
I tried to switch off snapshots for one of shares but it just shows "waiting icon". I'm afraid it simply does not have much time to do this, and device hangs. Apparently it takes more time to change the settings.
More thing i want to notice:
- I never used snapshots before.
- I configured snapshots in the begin of December 2021, and it worked fine before today.
- FW was updated the 3rd of January 2022 and worked fine before today too.
