Updating the Plex Server
How do I update the Plex server properly on my 314, OS 6.2.2 ?
It comes with version 9.9.14, but on the Plex site they have 9.11.7 to download for the readynas.
Do I just download the newer one from the Plex site and then upload it to the NAS on the Apps page and it will sort itself out, or is that not a good idea?

- RXLuminaryI suggest that you stick with the current Plex version that you have since Plex v0.9.9.14.531-7eef8c6 is the Plex version that is compatible from the Apps page of ReadyNAS OS 6: http://apps.readynas.com/pages/?page_id=9

The procedure you mention is how you would update it. But as Ixa mentioned the new version is not on apps.readynas.com - IanWilsonAspirantI was just trying to ensure I had the most up to date version of software, but checking the release notes there are a couple of features I can live without, the bug fixes I am not sure about.
Sounds like it is best not to update unless I end up with an issue with the earlier version.
How often are the apps on apps.readynas.com updated out of interest? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredOccasionally. It depends on various factors e.g. when an app developer submits an update.
