Upgraded to Sierra: TimeMachine "the network backup disk does not support the required capabilities"

So.... after rebooting the ReadyNAS after upgrading to "4.2.31" firmware, I was able to get TimeMachine to connect to the disk without any errors - and disk status shows in the TimeMachine preferences now...
Once I chose "Backup Now", it waits a long time on "Looking for backup disk...", then changes to "Preparing backup...".... fingers crossed, but it seems to be going now....

Confirmed, TimeMachine is currently backing up, so I guess I fixed the problem!
