USB Hard Drives Raid Expansion

You cannot extend the raid array to the USB drives. However, you can create shares on a USB drive if you wish. I wouldn't recommend that as a long term solution.
Are you certain you have a v2? (http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how ... -or-nv-v2/) The v1 is limited to 2 TB drives, the v2 is not.
