USB harddrive as HDD 3,5" harddrive
Hello!
I have now had a ReadyNAS Ultra 4 for a couple of years.
I now have little space available, and i am wondering if I can connect an 1TB rxternal USB harddrive to NAS and make it a HDD 3,5" Harddrive?
Right now it pops up in my shares as USB_HDD_1

- I'm assuming you'd like to add the usb drive to the array?
This is not possible and even if it were it would be very risky, if the drive was accidentally removed you'd lose the whole array.
