USB NTFS Corruption
I have three Western Digital 2TB pasport drives (formatted as NTFS). I have used them by plugging them into the USB port on my ReadyNAS, and continue to use them between the NAS and my Windows 7 lapt...
Do you safely disconnect it from the NAS? Unmount first, like 'Safely remove hardware' of Windows. If not, corruption is expected.
