Using duo v2 to connect a Bluetooth game controller
Hi all, bit of a strange request here, hope someone can help.
Basically I have set up my readynas duo v2 in my living room away from my main computer in a room 5-8m away, through a few walls.
I want to use the spare USB 2 port on the front of the readynas to attach a game controller via a Bluetooth dongle that i can use to play games from my main pc on my HDTV (that is connected to the the LAN, PC and nas via gigabit Ethernet).
I currently use a wireless hdmi device to send my computer's screen to my HDTV and currently have a Bluetooth dongle attached to my main pc with the idea that I could play games on the HDTV. The problem is the main pc is too far away and the controller does not work properly.
It seems in theory I should be able to use the USB device on the front of the nas, after all the nas is effecticvely an extension of the PC.
Alternatively is there a way that I can attach some sort of USB hub to the switch I have in my living room (close to the readynas) that will let me attach my game controller and use it via the LAN?
My hope is that by having a Bluetooth dongle attached to the nas I can eliminate the current controller problems, as I will be in the same room as the dongle, as opposed to it being attached to the main computer in another room.

- I don't think you can do this - at least not easily. The NAS is not an extension of your PC, it is a computer in its own right. You would need linux drives on the duo for the controller, and deal with the pairing there. Then you'd need a separate pair of applications (one on Linux, and one on PC) to forward the game controller commands to the PC. AFAIK none of that exists.
