Very slow opening and saving excel files on NAS
I have a ReadyNAS Duo hosting these shared excel work files. Only single user access to each file at any time. However, it take forever to open and save these excel (office 2011 and 2009) files. They'...
Did anyone provide a solution to this issue? This just started happening to me today. I have a ReadyNAS NV and a ReadyNAS NV+ and both are behaving the same way. It only happens when opening Excel files. I can copy files to each NAS all day long with no trouble. I fired up Process Monitor and it appears that Excel is just reading the file *very* slowly. It does eventually open but the time is crazy...it literally takes several minutes.
