As of right now, most of the ReadyNAS products are not on the Hardware Compatability List for vSphere 5.0. The highest release that is supported is 4.1 U1.
I would probably contact Netgear to see if they have plans on getting your product supported with the latest release. I also would probably go through the rest of your hardware and make sure that it is on the HCL as well.
