Volume Size and New HDD
I expand my ReadyNAS 316 as needed. Currently Windows 7. Firmware 6.2.2. It seems easiest to have left it on X-RAID2 as a single volume. Added new 4th 4TB HDD WD RED as "hot". All 4 disks are gre...
The volume expansion limits only apply to earlier OS , not OS6.
When the nas says volume rebuilding, do you see a progress indicator on the volume tab?
Did you test the disk using wd lifeguard, before inserting it?
