WD Tv live freezes/crashes accessing network shares help

Sorry, I cant help, but I do see the same problem. I swapped out my old WDTV for a new WDTV last night and its unable to find the ReadyNAS Duo shares that it could see when I was using the older WDTV. The CIFS (Windows share) just keeps scanning until i stop it. I enabled read/write for NFS for it to find it through linux share. It can see that IP address/ Share now but now just hangs when I try to open the share (media) from Video or Music.
I've tried adding a folder under media library but that hangs too, with no results after 6 hours wait.
Update: I enabled ReadyDLNA so i can now see it under media servers (instead of network shares). This seems to do a scan of content and adds it to a database to make it available. I'll see how this performs with new content updates.
