Taking a look on Admin Page i noted that 'the server THOUGHT it was down'

Doanload the full log zip file, and look in there for clues.

  The NAS clearly did reboot (the "started background process" says that) , and it also thinks it's on an UPS.. Do you see an UPS in the UPS section of the Power tab? Maybe one shared with another NAS?
