When I delete a share it deletes my data as well

if its deleting all your data on the device i would just reload the firmware, factory default and see if you are still getting that same issue, if you still have data on other
shares then call tech support
If I reload the firmware from dashboard will I lose any data on my volumes c, d, e, f ?? or will it just reinstall the firmware?
