When login via browser screen only shows shares but can't create any
Have a problem with my Nas as it only shows a screen that has two links - shares and logout
We no longer have a menu to create shares or remove them.
Did a reset to factory default
Made no diff...

I think you might have over-reacted.
Make sure you are using https://nas-ip-address/admin If the /admin is missing, you will end up on a different screen (one for browsing shares that have http enabled).
Also, clear your browser cache.

It seems to be working
Ip/admin brings me to the proper screen.I had my hands full with this project.
Had to re-install win server 2008
Now have to upgrade IE to install java
The server was hit with Ransom ware.
Suspect TeamViewer as the source of the problem.
All backups were destroyed.But we had old backups to fall back on.
Time to setup cloud backup too.
Sorry for delay - server is old and it took a lot to get it back on it's feet.
