Will a RAID array formatted....
I know the ReadyNAS boxes are starting to show their age, but recently my ReadyNAS came out of a 15 month storage and I can't get my computer to recognize the drives. I have them in a RAID 0 configur...
Looking at your product registration you have a Duo v1, not the new RN2120 (4-bay ARM rackmount). I have corrected your profile.
Were you using a single RAID-0 volume or multiple RAID-0 volumes?
You can't move them to a newer NAS model and expect the NAS to boot up. However we do have procedures for recovering the data using our newer models assuming the disks and array are fine. It is important that the procedure is followed carefully as instructed by support and that the disks are only inserted when requested. We do have paid data recovery options to handle some situations.
What happens when you attempt to boot your Duo? Do any lights come on? Do you hear the fan running? Can you see it in RAIDar? If you see it in RAIDar what do you see in the Info (far right) column?
