Will setting my NAS back to default settings erase the second attached volume as well?

I have a ReadyNAS expansion chasis attached to my ReadyNas516.  If I disconnect the chasis, then set the ReadyNAS516 back to default settings, then reattach the expansion chasis; will the data on the expansion chasis remain or will it get deleted as well?

I don't think it does actually - he wants to remount the EDA volume after the reset, which isn't one of the use cases in the faq.

It would be useful to be able to do this - it'd also be useful to be able to dismount/remount volumes within the NAS when you are using flexraid.
