Windows 10 September Update - RN312
Hi,
I got severeal issues after updating from Windows 10 to the newest September release of Windows 10 version 1511.
1. The RN312 does no longer show-up in the File explorer under Network. I can still access it by typing the location directly into the File Explorer but it refuses to show in in the Network Locations.
2. Edge Internet explorer shows now a nasty Security Certificate Error everytime I access the RN312 user interface page.
Is there a way to fix it or do I need to revert to the pevious W10?

I am seeing both my RN102 and my RN202 under network. Reverting might resolve it for you, it might not. Whether Windows discovers the NAS (and categorizes it correctly under network) has always been a bit hit or miss.
One workaround is that you can add the NAS as a persistant network location.
Is the security warning the usual "The security certificate for this site doesnt match the sites web address and may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server." or is it something else?

Hi Fred_x,
Not sure what caused the device to disappear in your network location. You can easily map the shares in your PC (just check this article) to access your files. With regard to the security certificate that shows up every time you access the admin page, try this workaround and see if it helps.
Kind regards,

Hi,
I pinned the the RN312 to the ouick access section in the windows explorer so I can access it from there.
However, there must be a reason why it does not appear in the network list while all other network devices do.
It still works fine on W10 computers without the update installed.
The security warning in Edge when accessing the Nas Webinterface disapeared after a few hours without doing anything. I am always using the IP to access it, not the device name.
