Windows 7 Properties Wrong
when I right click at look at the properties for my readynas they are wrong
I am doing this in the windows explorer. My readynas is listed in the computer and storage listing of the network. right clicking on it and click properties and you see my screen shot
You will see the ip address is 120.0.0.1 This could be a 192.168.0.16 as below in the windows
any ideas how to fix this ????

Works fine on my Readynas NV+
Any idea way this is happening on the RN102??

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYou might wish to open a support case about this.
127.0.0.1 is the localhost I.P.
If you go to http://127.0.0.1 on your PC if a webserver is running on that PC it will open the webpage on that. - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserMy RN102 shows up the same way. Device webpage also identified as "unavailable" and the URL set to localhost.
Personally I access the web page through browser shortcuts anyway (using my ddns name, so I can use the same shortcuts both remotely and locally) - mh5blAspirantSo this look like it is a bug if your is also doing it. I do not access it this was either but was just wondering if is was easily fixed.
IS this somthing that netgear are planning of fixing ?? - mh5blAspirantHow come is did not get fixed in the latest firmware update ?
Is the some what to report this, for it to happen? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredI don't think this could be reproduced on 6.2, but I would only recommend running 6.2 beta on non-production systems.
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserI am running 6.2, and the problem isn't happening with that release.
