Windows 8.1 machine can't see shares on RN104?
Hi, I have a windows 8.1 machine here and it cannot see any shares on my RN104 device. If I either go to \\hostname or \\1.2.3.4 ip address I just get Error Code 0x80070035 saying it can't find it...

Are the windows system and the NAS in the same windows workgroup?
Originally, no, the readynas was set to something else and the client to WORKGROUP. Have changed them both to WORKGROUP and still doesn't work
Also, have you tried using the NAS admin credentials?
On credentials generally, windows will present its logon credentials to the NAS by default. If the user name matches one configured on the NAS (for instance "admin") but the password doesn't match, then access is denied even if anonymous access is allowed.
I have tried nas admin credentials, the cloud credentials, and no creds, and still doesn't work. I can ping the device and log into the web page OK, so network connectivity is fine. Just access via CIFS doesn't work :/
