Won't and can't happen as per well informed Netgear sources.
The GCxxx switch series isn't Managed Switch (Enterprise) class - much more these were introduced specifically for Insight - where SNMP was considered not required or competitive against Insight. The "big" GC7xx initially did not had SNMP available, it came up with the Insight ability for basic config of SNMP. Very long faces trying SNMP once enabling SNMP on the Insight Wired network config finding the GC1xx/GC5xx does not have SNMP at all - apparently mainly due the the limited resources in Flash, RAM, and processing ewe're told.
