Add the SHA256 Hash algorithm to VPN Firewall FVS336Gv3
Hi,
I just got a certificate which the hash algorithm is SHA256.
But my vpn firewall only allows SHA1.
Can you please fix this?
Thank you very much.
Best regards

I have been trying to get an answer from Netgear support for over a year. In my opinion they don't have the resources to do this and this is the main reason they are getting out of UTM product line too.
Netgear really is letting everyone down here big time. Unfortunate and highly disapointing.

Apple say iOS 11 wont support SHA1 ... https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207459
Come on Netgear - youve got 2 months before you lose all iPhone VPN customers.

SHA256 will likely never come Numerous official company reps have said that Netgear is no longer producing any of the VPN firewalls. This essentially means they are end-of-life. I've been recommending all companies I know to move on to a different platform.
