Adding LAG to VLAN/PortBased/Advanced on JGS524Ev2 (as realized on GS750e)

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

I have several Netgear Switches. Two of them are the GS750E and the JGS524Ev2.

I am using port-based VLANs and wanted to create a 4-Port LAG connection between them.

On the GS750E I create a LAG with 4 ports as port members.

After that I remove the ports that are members of the LAG from the VLAN and add the LAG to the VLAN instead.

the GS750E has FW Version 1.0.0.22.

When I want to do the same on the JGS524Ev2 there is no possibility under "VLAN/port-based/advaced" to add the LAG to the VLAN.

It would be very great if you could realize this feature in the next FW release of the JGS524Ev2. I am just using the latest FW!

Thanks a lot !!

By rule of thumb, on the smaller Smart Managed Plus models you can simply add the LAG individual ports (as added to the LAG) for  the VLAN.

It's mainly a simplification in the UI.
