BR200 WAN failover

It would be useful to be able to connect two BR200 together and set them up on a device level as main WAN and as Backup WAN in order to get WAN failover, maybe using a LAN port connection between them.

Unfortunately, the BR500 and BR200 family is EoL... some all-new more business grade dual-WAN router(s) seem to be in the works.

Yes, of course two devices could make some nice fail-over configs, indeed.

  • When are the new VPN Routers expected to come out?

I have several SRX series routers to replace and ideally would stick with Netgear for common management, rather than switch manufacturer. Unfortunately the BR200 did not fill this requirement for Dual WAN functionality.

Also it appears that the Netgear Pro VPN client for the SRX routers is now unobtainable and updates now not coming out for the SRX series, so if the new routers are not iminent, then I will be forced to switch to another make and migrate over the networking setups.
